I was born in Boise, and I have had the pleasure of growing up in the wonderful Treasure Valley. I graduated from Meridian High School in 2000 and March of 2001, I joined the United States Marine Corps as a rifleman and eagerly shipped off to boot camp. Deploying to Iraq in support of combat operations in 2004 made me decide to pursue this as my career. While in the Marine Corps I would learn the importance of discipline, leadership, commitment, and loyalty among many other traits. I retired in 2016 and moved to Caldwell, Idaho with my high school sweetheart Nicole.
My wife and I started a small business doing woodwork. My wife, three children; Lilly, Alyssa, Damien and I enjoy living in Caldwell and are proud to be back home in Idaho. I am not proud to see Idahoans struggling under high taxes, government overspending, and politicians turning a deaf ear to the peoples needs. I want to change that.
We deserve to have the public servants we vote into office represent our best interests. We need to have strong, morally right leaders in office to uphold our rights and be willing to fight for them. I want to make that happen. I promise not to support raising or implementing new taxes, increases in spending, or regulations restricting your God given rights. Help me work to lower taxes, protect your rights, and stop our governments constant overspending.
Christopher Trakel is committed to the people of Idaho first. He knows property tax has gotten out of control and many people are facing very difficult times as they continue to rise. He promises to never support any type of increase in any tax. Relief needs to come from the state in the form of budget cuts and an end to overspending, not in raising another tax as many Idahoan legislatures push for.
This particular issue has been a major concern in Idaho. Christopher Trakel will not advocate for Common Core. We as Idahoans need to keep control of our educational standards. Parents lose their rights and power when the Federal Government gets involved. Keep the decisions of our children's education in Idaho where it belongs.
The 2nd Amendment is why we have and will continue to have all of our God given rights. Christopher Trakel believes our gun rights must be protected and defended with tenacity. This means no red flag laws, no bans on weapon type or ammo capacity, and no legislation that would attempt to take away our right to bear arms.
Our freedom was given to us at birth by God, not granted to us by the government. That is something we must never forget. Governments place is to understand this and to protect what already belongs to all of us.
The control of Government is constantly encroaching into every aspect of our lives and taking control. As this happens we lose personal rights. Government must be limited and the power of control must remain with the people. A Government must fear the people it serves or we the people will never be free.
Christopher Trakel stands firmly on this issue. All life is precious and is entitled to be given a chance. He understands this is a very controversial concern but, he believes the unborn child must be protecte
Your donation is important. We need your support to ensure the Idaho way of life is protected.
